For our maintenance contract customers, each piece of equipment is on file with its brand, model and serial number. When you call, just tell us which unit is affected.

Repair or replace?
If a repair is no longer worth it, we can prepare a replacement quote. An eligible heat pump may qualify for a Hydro-Québec LogisVert grant.

A few simple checks.
They sometimes solve the problem. If they don’t, give us a call.
The heat pump won’t start.
Check the mode, the set temperature and the batteries in the thermostat or remote. Then check the unit’s breaker in the electrical panel. If it has tripped, reset it once only. If it trips again, call us.
The outdoor unit gives off steam in winter.
That’s normal: the unit is running a defrost cycle. Call us if ice covers the unit and no longer melts.
Little air comes out of the indoor unit.
A dirty filter reduces airflow. Clean or replace the filter, then make sure the grilles are not blocked.
Water is leaking from the indoor unit.
Condensate water is no longer draining, often because of a clogged drain. Turn off the unit and call us.
The outdoor unit is covered in snow or ice.
Clear the snow around and on top of the unit. Do not strike the ice on the fins. Call us if the unit stays iced up.
