Find the exact indoor and outdoor unit combination in Hydro-Québec’s list using the model numbers or AHRI reference. The product line name alone is not enough.
For your application
Keep your documents
Keep your purchase and installation invoice, along with the supporting documents required by the participation guide.
After installation
Submit your application
You have nine months from the equipment installation date to submit your application to Hydro-Québec.

Why can heat pumps of the same nominal capacity qualify for different amounts?
Nominal capacity alone does not determine the amount. Hydro-Québec considers factors such as heating capacity at −8 °C and system certification. Check the exact equipment combination in the official list.
Is the amount the same for a multi-zone system?
The complete indoor and outdoor unit configuration must be checked. An example amount does not automatically apply to a different combination.
What about new construction?
The example amounts shown here are for an eligible existing home. For new construction, the amount and application process must be checked separately.
Is the grant deducted from the quote?
